Kembrey has an enviable history of delivering electrical interconnection systems for wing, fuselage, engines and sub-systems on platforms such as Nimrod MRA4, Tornado, Harrier GR9, Gulfstream and Bombardier Business jets, Airbus A330, Boeing 747, 757, 767 and 777. In addition to this, military applications such as Challenger MBT, Bowman, Stingray and Harpoon have benefitted from Kembrey's knowledge and expertise.

Today, Kembrey proudly delivers global solutions to clients including BAE Systems, Cobham, Rolls Royce, Ultra Electronics, AgustaWestland, GE and GKN, deployed on platforms such as the AW101, Boeing's 787 and Typhoon.

Our capabilities include:

• Harness design and development - Our team of engineers and technicians will work closely with you to specify and develop final harness designs and provide a prototype service. Full Computer Aided Design (CAD) support and training services also available.

• Harness Assembly - Manufacturing all types of harness designs - including open wire looms and thermofit designs, all with automatic electronic testing.

• Laser Marking - Providing laser marked wire bundles for harness manufacture and the service of replacement wires and cables.

• Braiding - Machine capacities to braid various diameters of loom: 3 off 16 carriers; 2 off 24 carriers; 3 off 32 carriers; 1 off 48 carriers.

• Client Support - Full client support is key to achieving joint goals and can result in efficiencies for both parties. This includes impartial advice on loom and harness design and CAD support. Additionally, Kembrey can train client operators on building harnesses either at our Swindon site or at the clients own facility. We are currently working with a partner organisation in Saudi Arabia, training their operatives to work on a Tornado upgrade for RSAF.

• Subcontract Manufacturing - Focussing on low and medium volume manufacturing for the aerospace, defence and security markets.

• Maintenance Repair & Overhaul - We have undertaken MRO activities for a variety of clients that include boxes, pylons, racks and panel wiring for aerospace, defence and other industries.

• Supply Chain Solutions - As a global buyer of electronic components, we work in close alignment with suppliers to source material as cost effectively as possible.
